    Vitiligo causes white patches to appear on the skin. The Melanocytes that produce the skin’s color are destroyed. As Melanocyte destruction increases, white patches can appear sporadically. Patches are usually found on the hands and feet. The physical manifestations that Vitiligo causes can also cause mood disorders and depression in some patients.

    Treatments for Vitiligo include

    * Corticosteroid Cream for Local Application
    * Vitamin D derivative – calcipotriene (Dovonex)
    * Topical Psoralen with ultraviolet A (PUVA).
    * Surgery: Skin grafts are performed from the normal to the affected skin.

    Allopathic treatments for Vitiligo only treat the symptoms and are unable to correct the imbalances that cause it. These conventional treatments do not cure vitiligo.

    Traditional belief holds that advanced natural protocols such as Resonance homeopathy and ayurvedic herbal remedies, along with Modern Bio-energetics, can help restore normal skin color and increase the body’s production of melanocytes. Clinical studies on the ayurvedic herb Bakuchi (Psoralea Corylifolia)
    Kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) ,Bhringaraj (Eclipta alba) ,Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia),
    Kakmachi (Solanum nigrum) , Katuki (Picorrhiza kurroa), Nimba (Melia azadirachta),
    Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa), Rohitak (Amoora rohituka), Sharapunkha (Tephrosia purpurea),
    Madayantika paan, (Lawsonia Alba) evaluated the efficacy and effectiveness of these herbs to improve the skin’s functioning.
