    Diet and Migraine

There is evidence that certain foods can trigger migraines. Certain foods can trigger migraine while others can prevent or alleviate the symptoms. Eliminating migraine triggers is the best thing you can do for your body. Include foods rich in calcium, magnesium, and fiber while avoiding caffeinated or spicy foods to help reduce symptoms.

    What is Migraine

Migraine headaches are chronic, debilitating headaches that usually affect only one side of your head. The headaches are prone to recurring and can be triggered by factors like prolonged sun exposure, stress, hunger, and certain foods. Caffeine, chocolate, cheese, and the menstrual cycle may also trigger migraine. Migraine attacks can be accompanied by other symptoms, such as nausea, drowsiness, giddiness, and generalized weakness. To alleviate symptoms and prevent future episodes, it is best to avoid the trigger factors.
