    What Causes Chlamydia

    Chlamydia, also known as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), is caused by Chlamydia bacteria. Chlamydia can be asymptomatic, or it may show symptoms such as genital swelling and discharge, pelvic discomfort, and fever. Chlamydiasis that is not treated can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) or Infertility.
